So, this is what I have been doing for like the past 2 weeks. I've been helping, I say that lightly as my icons aren't that good, this one iPod theme out with some of there icons. I have been doing this, because I use this theme myself and it is pretty cool looking I think. For those interested, the name of the theme is Dulce.
If you get the theme or try it out, then this is just like an extension that I made myself for my own iPod. Not all of these were made for my iPod, but a large portion of them were. Also, because of TTH policies, I had to remove 3 or so icons.
The folder originally included 101 icons, which are sorted into both Glow and NonGlow versions. So, there were really 202 icons. The glows are the same as the NonGlows, but include a 7px glow around the edges, making them look pretty cool.
This file, free for you to download and look at/work off of, includes 98 icons. Both included in Glow and NonGlow versions, so 196 icons. The PSD, also edited to remove the "bad" icons. And a Photoshop Action file that I made for myself. When ran, it will automatically add a 7px glow to your image and then save it. This was really useful for myself in making these icons. Last, the file includes all of the original icon artwork. Some of the icons' artwork isn't there because I didn't archive most of the first icons that I made. Also, some of it was from requests and so they aren't all perfect icon artwork that you get from iTunes.
The Action file duplicates the currently selected layer, adds a 7px Gaussian Blur to the new layer, Merges all visible layers, and then saves. I had to go through 101 icons this way. Doing all of this manually took about a minute (probably less) to do on one icon. Doing this with this action, it took about a minute to go through 10 icons. Just a tip, actions will always help you out if you ever feel as if you are repeating yourself.
Eh, I think that is all...
