Just because you can find a way to do something, it does not mean it is the right/legit/noncheating way to play or do something. (for example, just because you can get answers to a test and pass, does not make it right to then get an A on said test).

Just saying.....

That's a pretty absentminded statement. Obviously, everyone can't automatically know how to race or what to do when in a race! It takes practice just like how one would study for said test.

So how is it Cheating? I mean some of you say it is A technique. Or its not CHeating. Cheating involves HURTING the game Most likely. Cheating scores, Gags, etc. Kinda like hacking. Cheating a Wall. Doesnt sound right. And if TT DID put the platform ON the wall. It makes toons cars able to slide. So why not use it? Yea just use it for it to be there. No, toons are gonna use it as an advantage. Cheating on a Test? Yea thats cheating. Getting an easy A. But racing isnt easy. Even if you do WALL SLIDE/RIDE you can lose. Billions of Anvils hit you because your in first. Cheating would be if you got 1st every time in a matter of seconds. No its a challenege, and you have to practice with it

This is a good question, which seems to always go unanswered by those who figured it out 3+ years ago and by those who *cough* defend it.

Wall sliding/riding entails angling your cart ~ 30-45 degrees into the walls to increase yoru speed. It is most common in Blizzard Blvd and easiest to learn in BB Reverse course. There are multiple walls which you can angle your cart into. The 1st easiest wall is after the 1st 2 turns and the turbo boost on the left and presents on the right. After the turbo you can angle your cart into the left hand wall and get to speeds of ~160-200 (the top speed the game allows), coming out of the next turn you can continue to slide on the left wall and then slide on the right wall. Tinker with your angle and line up after you find the walls. Finding the spots can be done doing practice courses or checking out few videos. I'd post some links, but I doubt they are approved, or others will scream about giving away their "SECRETS", ooooowwww

A few things about wall sliding in my option are unfair to others.

1- If you don't wall slide, you will not get the all time records which get you 1000's of tickets. Only the *cheaters* hold most the records and get the big haul on tickets

2- It used to be that you even anviled sliders and it did not affect them. I don't know if that is still the case.

Those who do it can max racing quicker, get more tickets and crow about how great they are.

Those who don't probably fall victim over and over and don't deserve to be treated like this.

A better post from the advocates of wall sliding would be to level the playing field and let everyone know how to do it.

Perhaps, a few of you can all wall slide together and have some event of some kind with some little prize or sumthin'

A good TT community discussion would promote improving everyone's play, skills and enjoyment of the game.

Not always Disney's fault. Sometimes they miss things when releasing things. Also, although people practice, it doesn't mean that some practiced this so called "technique". :P
