Task Manager Glitch Fixed!

Just a warning to all SOS shoppers, the task manager end process glitch has apparently been fixed! A friend was trying to solo VP today and had to end process to keep from dying, but when she logged back in had no gags and no laff.

Please use the log in glitch instead (where you log in to your account on the same computer while running Toontown), just to be safe.

Hmm, really? Interesting, task manager glitch? I didnt think of it as a glitch
You can go sad at times while using task manager, I know I did go sad once or twice before, will have to check it out.

Okay this is what I did to test it. I took a low toon who I'm not concerned about, and went on Pajama Place to fight with a cog. During battle, I went in task manager, processes, found toontown.exe and ended that process. When I logged the toon back in, the toon was happy in the playground with all her gags.

What some people do by mistake, is go in task manager, and under APPLICATIONS, then end task. THAT will always make you go sad while in a battle.

I've tried that in regular cog battle before with end task, and don't end up sad. I don't think regular battles do that. But my friend who did this has SOS shopped before, and therefore knows to end process, not end task. So I think Toontown fixed it.

Oh no I hope they didnt fix it because I dont have another computer to log into my account again. Why Toontown WHY!!!!! Dont ruin my fun like that.

I just tested the street sadness method by both using the force quit method (mac version of task manager, since I'm on a mac) and by just X'ing out, and my toon was happy with gags both times. I will need to try again with bosses to see if there's a difference.

You can log in from the same computer, doesn't have to be a different one. Just end task on the launcher, open it again, and log in.

With the street battles, hitting X.... does it matter if you are with other toons? Does that have any impact.


Who wants to go into a boss battle and loose their seven gags to find out?
I might be closing toontown launcher and logging myself back in. That is a little slower but..... yikes!

Yes, this is a common mistake that alot have made when they come back sad. I'm not sure if you will always go sad but I have seen it happen many times.


EDIT: After taking princess into the VP and using the task manager to exit, she came back full laff and gags. Most likely your friend was in Applications rather than Processes.

This is what happened to me. Went into a vp with my noob, logged back in and I had full laff and all my gags.
