I have tried an auto-fisher once on one of my toons, and do not like it, in fact I hate it. Fishing is relaxing to me.

I have hand fished normal speed to max 9 toons in fishing. So have I cheated? Yes once to test out this program a bit. Did I like it and do I still use it? Nope, it was a one time deal.

If people cheat, whether it be speed or auto-fishing to max it, then by all means go for it I wont harass you. However, cheating to win a contest against other toons is just wrong.

He got in the 18k, had to be 24 hours non-stop. I did about 20, 21 hours for my 14k and had a few short breaks here and there. I have an upcoming toon who is holding off for his steel rod, once it comes I am going to try and pass that 18k top record.

I was working on my cat's tasks and saw a toon fishing in mml. It was there the whole day, I said 'Hello?' and they didnt respond. Then my friend came and he said their using a program. But of course he won the skirt.

When people fish more than 24 hours toontown should be tipped off - I (when i use the programs) fish when im doing homework, walking the dog helping cook dinner, things like that. Im never on for more than a hour or too, but my toons are brats and love to catch the ultras when im AFK.

The above comments conflicts big time with the conversation we had at Boss Hq a while back. Oh well.. one of us is getting old.

And I do believe that was a talk about fishing programs in general, a discussion over which were the best. I can answer that question and I believe I did. I was in the process of testing out multiple fishing programs then, seeing numbers caught, how often it messes up etc.

When it comes to TT, I have tried out just about everything, and have even made up a few programs. In the end I prefer good ol' fashioned normal speed hand fishing, and that is all I will use.

I would hope that anyone who does auto-anything would keep that for private reasons only such as maxing a toon, and never bring it to an open contest.

As of programs, nobody will admit the truth about using them esp. in a tournament and on an open forum. So please let them feel guilty in their own way knowing that cheating just got them a shirt and guilt.

There are a few reasons for proof of not using a program here.

there are a few here who can confirm my all day fishing, I was always at the computer and talking to them via whisper.

I have yet to see a single fishing program that is as accurate and fast as a human hand. Should a program be able to go 24 hours non-stop it reals in on average 6000. Many many people who hand fish, including myself during this contest, get way over that.

As I said before, there are many many ways and programs to help us personally with our toons. Sure you may max faster, but the personal satisfaction of completing a hard monotonous task will not be as great. Getting those couple ultra's when I was testing out programs had no special meaning to me really. However, when a competition is in play, and we are competing against many other people, using a program becomes more of a bigger issue to me as you are using it to get a personal advantage over other people who work hard.
