Attention TEST Toons! Please test this new build of Toontown out and let us know if you find any issues. We have fixes the Mac OSX problems so all supported versions are now playable.

You will notice that "Toon News ... for the Amused!" is not available. We will be bringing it back as soon as we can so stay Tooned!

I'm not a tester, so I can't get check out what they mean by "new build"...any testers want to post pictures?

I only had a few minutes to look since I am running late. I did not notice ANY changes whatsoever. ??????/

I only ran a toon through TTC and killed some street cogs. I didn't see anything different.

Looks like they just fixed some of the stuff we can't see...the "underlying system" as its called. Stuff like security protocols and all the other stuff that we don't see but helps keep the game running. Idk about the open server though...they haven't released anything about that.

With Disney's definition of "soon" (they said DXD would be restored "soon" when the connection to Toontown was lost on June 25, 2008, and it has yet to return)...I ain't holding my breath on the news thing returning.

4 years and I never got a test account.

Can someone on test check and see if the buttons turn green in the factory when stepped on? Seems that hasnt been the case since Bossbot came out.

Ditto some NPCs' voices dropping out such as Mata Hairy and Tutorial Tom (at the end of the toontorial when Tom appears in the street and tells you to go to HQ for your reward. After one line, he is silent).

If you're real ambitious, check to see if collision has been restored to the giant goons in the giant goon room in the DA.

Well you can check that in the open server game as well. Both versions are identical apart from the addon "test" in the version number. Actually there are only 4 bytes difference between the applications.

I didn't see anything new and the "Toon News ... for the Amused!" button is no longer there. When it was, while reading the "news" my toon fell asleep by the time I got to page four, lol.

Disney XD? Yuck. I remember playing when that was out and it was the most confusing thing ever. But yes, on your point, Disney takes forever to do pretty much anything. I'm really hoping for a big release sooner or later. Not just more trolley games or something dumb like that.

@Flippers - I've been on the waiting list for probably 4 years now, too. I started playing TT 5 years ago, and I can't remember when I applied for a test account. I did have a free trial on test once, so I was able to try it out for a few days.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens!
